The College of Law at Basra University organized a scientific symposium on "Incitement to Suicide: Motives and Causes" as part of the university's Guidance Week activities.

The lecture was delivered by Professor Wafa Yassin Najm, who emphasized that incitement to suicide is a sensitive and complex issue with significant negative impacts on individuals and society. She highlighted that suicide is not merely the result of a single problem but is caused by a combination of psychological, social, and environmental factors.
