The College of Law at the University of Basra organized a seminar on the individual's right to a sustainable healthy environment, aiming to raise awareness about human rights to a healthy environment, relevant environmental legislation, and the role of governmental entities in promoting sustainable development.

Dr. Zainab Yassin Abdul Khader, a lecturer at the College of Management and Economics, emphasized that organizing such seminars stems from the university's belief in the necessity of forming broad partnerships with various entities and sectors in Basra society to achieve its vision and mission, particularly in spreading awareness about human rights principles.
