*University of Basrah Holds Educational Awareness Festival on the Harms of Drugs and Their Impact on Society*

The College of Law at the University of Basrah held a festival on the impact and harms of drugs on individuals and society. The festival was sponsored by the esteemed President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Aqeel Fadel Hamid Al-Dahan. General supervision was provided by the esteemed Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Hussein Abdul Qadir Ma'ruf. The festival was organized by Professor Dr. Taysir Ahmed Abal.

The University of Basrah witnessed an awareness festival, where legal voices resounded, starting with the first-year students of the College of Law, creating an awareness wave in our Basrah community against the scourge of drugs. The festival aims to encourage young people to make healthy decisions to avoid potential risks, prevent falling into the trap of drug use, and raise awareness among the youth about the dangers of drug use and its harmful effects on individuals and society.
