The University of Basrah celebrates its 60th anniversary.

       The celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the University of Basra was held at the College of Law at the University of Basra 24/4 in the presence of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, the respected Governor of Basra, Professor Eng. Asaad Abdul Amir Al-Aidani, the deans of the colleges, a large gathering of academics, affiliates and students, as well as officials of government departments in Basra and professional syndicates.
